Michael Nwoseh
Michael is the Head, Strategy, and Growth at Data Science Nigeria. He is a result-oriented professional with experience in youth marketing, retail banking, marketing strategy, brand management, media planning, business development, and non-profit management. Prior to joining Data Science Nigeria, he was the Head, Youth Segment, Retail Banking Division at First City Monument Bank Limited. He has also worked in digital organizations like the telecommunications giant, Etisalat, where he was Product Manager. He holds a Certificate in Professional Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, London, United Kingdom, an Executive Masters in Project Management from CUPE International, Bournemouth, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria.
He has also attended training on Marketing Strategies, Branding and Customer Expectations, and Developing and Monetizing content and Entertainment Services from the famous Telecoms Academy, London, United Kingdom. Asides from his 9-5 job, he writes and speaks at conferences on Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Personal Branding, and Leadership.
Oguche Agudah
Oguche is the Chief Executive Officer, Pension Fund Operators Association of Nigeria. Before his appointment, Oguche was a Regional Director for OurCrowd, a crowdfunding and venture capital firm with headquarters in Israel. In this role, his remit was to expand Ourcrowd’s business in Nigeria by designing and implementing the local strategy to connect with potential investors, and partners that will grow the brand and expand their portfolio of investors, clients and investee companies in the region. He holds a degree in Banking and Finance (University of Lagos) and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers Nigeria.
Prior to this, he served as Special Adviser to Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment. He has also worked with Standard Chartered Bank as Associate Director, where he was in charge of the credit quality of a portfolio of assets worth USD 7 billion dollars. This included various loan products and derivatives to banks, the government, and sovereign owned enterprises (SOEs) in Nigeria. He is an avid writer with columns in some local and international publications where he writes and advises on strategy, finance, entrepreneurship, and emerging markets.
