Understand auto-renew for domains and recurring services on OneNet Servers
Applies to: Domains and recurring services billed through OneNet Servers Client Area.
Auto-renew helps stop avoidable expiry and suspension, but it does not replace checking invoices and payment methods. Use it as a safety layer, not as a reason to ignore billing.
Before you start
- Open the domain or service in Client Area before you assume auto-renew is already enabled.
- Make sure the account payment path is still valid if the product depends on automatic payment.
Steps on OneNet Servers
- Open the domain or service record in Client Area and review the current renewal setting.
- Enable auto-renew where the product offers it and where you want OneNet Servers to continue billing the product automatically.
- Review upcoming invoices and payment methods anyway, especially for domains and important production services.
- Check the setting again after any billing, card, or account change that might affect renewal success.
What you should see next
- You should be able to tell whether the product is set to renew automatically or not.
- You should also know whether the account still has a valid payment route to support that renewal.
Common issues
- Auto-renew does not fix failed payment details on its own.
- A domain can still become a problem if the renewal invoice cannot be paid cleanly.
When this matters most
- Domains that control live websites and business email.
- Recurring hosting or email services where a missed renewal becomes customer-facing fast.
- Accounts that rely on stored payment methods and do not watch invoices closely every day.
