FAQ
Questions about the programme
Is this really free? What is the catch?
Yes. Year one of your domain, hosting and email costs nothing. We run the programme because businesses that start with us tend to grow with us. There is no card on file and no automatic charge.
What happens after the first year?
We remind you 30 days before the free year ends. You can renew at the standard price, move to another plan, or transfer your domain away.
Who reviews my application?
A member of the OneNet Servers team reviews every application. We normally reply within two business days.
Can I choose any domain extension?
The initiative covers eligible .name.ng, .com.ng and .ng options shown during approval. Availability is confirmed before activation.
Can I upgrade my hosting during the free year?
Yes. You can move to a larger hosting plan whenever you need more storage, traffic capacity, mailboxes or features.
