Understand how authoritative DNS works on OneNet Servers

Authoritative DNS decides which records the public internet should trust for your domain. On OneNet Servers, that means you first need to know whether the domain uses OneNet Servers nameservers or an external DNS provider. That one decision tells you where the real change belongs.

• Check whether the domain is using OneNet Servers nameservers before you edit anything else.

Steps on OneNet Servers

1. If the domain uses OneNet Servers nameservers, treat OneNet Servers as the live authority for the domain.
