Install WordPress in Plesk

Applies to: Hosting services on Hank where WordPress Toolkit is available.

Use WordPress Toolkit when you want the fastest supported WordPress setup on OneNet Servers. It is the cleanest route for new installs, staging, and later maintenance.

Before you start

• Make sure the domain or subdomain already exists in the hosting subscription.
• Decide whether you want a fast default install or a custom install with your own admin settings.

Steps on OneNet Servers

1. Log in to Plesk and open WordPress Toolkit.
2. Choose Install.
3. Use the quick path if you want a fast default site, or the custom path if you need to set admin details, version, or update behaviour first.
4. Confirm the target domain and complete the install.
5. Test the WordPress admin login before you start adding themes, plugins, or content.

What you should see next

• The site should appear in WordPress Toolkit with management actions such as login, clone, backup, and updates.
• You should be able to open the public site and the WordPress admin area cleanly.

Common issues

• If the domain is missing from Toolkit, the domain was not attached to the subscription correctly yet.
• A successful install does not mean the site is ready for production. You still need to review SSL, updates, and mail delivery if the site sends forms.
