Change your Plesk password
Applies to: Plesk users with permission to manage their own profile credentials.
Use this guide when you want to rotate your current Plesk password or replace one that is no longer working.
Before you start
- Make sure you are signed in to the correct Plesk account if you are changing the password from inside the panel.
Steps on OneNet Servers
- Log in to Plesk and open your profile or account settings.
- Find the password section and enter the new password twice.
- Save the profile and test the new password in a fresh login window before closing your current session.
What you should see next
- The new password should work in a fresh login without affecting the current session immediately.
Common issues
- Changing a panel password does not automatically update saved passwords in Outlook, FTP clients, or other apps that may use separate credentials.
When to contact support: Contact support if the panel accepts the new password but a fresh login still fails.
