Change PHP version on OneNet Servers hosting

Applies to: Sites on Hank where the domain exposes PHP controls in Plesk.

Change PHP only when you have a reason to do it. The common cases are app compatibility, plugin requirements, or moving off an old version that should no longer stay in use.

Before you start

• Confirm which domain needs the PHP change.
• Check the application or plugin requirements first.

Steps on OneNet Servers

1. Log in to Plesk and open the domain under Websites & Domains.
2. Open PHP Settings for that domain.
3. Select the target PHP version and save the change.
4. Retest the public site and the admin area immediately after the switch.

What you should see next

• The domain should reload under the new PHP version.
• If the site is compatible, both the public site and the admin area should load normally.

Common issues

• A PHP version change often exposes plugin or theme issues that were already there but hidden on the older version.
• Do not change PHP on a live production site without a recent backup if the application is old or heavily customised.
