Hosting & Domain Agreement
This Agreement sets out the terms that apply to domain registration, web hosting, backups, availability, acceptable use, and legal responsibilities for services provided by OneNet Servers through its UK and Nigerian operations. The English version is the only official version of this Agreement.

Terms for Domain Registration
All domain registrations and renewals are subject to the rules of the relevant registry, registrar, and governing authority, including ICANN and country-code registry policies where applicable.
- .ng and related Nigerian domain registrations remain subject to current NiRA registry requirements and registrant verification rules where applicable.
- You must provide accurate and current registrant, billing, and administrative contact details.
- You are responsible for ensuring the domain name you request does not infringe the rights of any third party.
- Domain registration is completed only after successful payment and registry confirmation.
- Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and redemption fees are generally non-refundable once submitted successfully.
- Failure to renew a domain before expiry can lead to suspension, loss of service, redemption charges, or permanent loss of the name.
Web Hosting Services
We provide hosting services with reasonable care and skill, including shared hosting, reseller hosting, WordPress hosting, VPS, and related infrastructure services.
- You are responsible for the content, software, mail activity, and data stored or transmitted through your account.
- We may suspend or restrict services where usage threatens platform security, stability, or other customers.
- You must keep your software, passwords, and access credentials secure and up to date at all times.
- We may remove or disable content that violates the law, this Agreement, or abuse prevention policies.
Service Level Agreement (SLA)
We aim to provide reliable hosting services and maintain a commercially reasonable level of availability, subject to planned maintenance, emergency maintenance, upstream outages, force majeure, and events outside our control.
- Availability targets do not apply to customer-caused issues, third-party software faults, or registry downtime.
- Scheduled maintenance may be carried out to preserve performance, security, or infrastructure integrity.
- If you believe service levels were materially missed, contact support promptly with dates, impact, and the affected service.
Data Backup and Retention
We may provide automated backups on selected services, but backups are not guaranteed to be complete, available, or restorable in every circumstance.
- You remain responsible for maintaining your own independent backups of all websites, databases, and mail.
- Backup retention periods vary by service and may change from time to time.
- We are not liable for data loss, corruption, failed restores, or missing backups where independent customer backups were not maintained.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Examples include natural disasters, war, civil unrest, labor disputes, infrastructure failure, and government action.
- Where possible, we will take reasonable steps to reduce disruption and restore service promptly.
Spamming and Phishing
Spam, phishing, spoofing, fraud, malware distribution, and any form of abusive email or deceptive communication are strictly prohibited across all services.
- We may suspend or terminate affected accounts immediately without prior notice.
- We may investigate, preserve logs, and cooperate with registries, payment providers, and law enforcement where required.
- You are responsible for the conduct of users, scripts, applications, and devices operating under your account.
Compliance with the Law
You must use our services in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, registry rules, and lawful requests from competent authorities.
- You must not use the Services to publish, distribute, or host unlawful content.
- You must not attempt unauthorized access, interference, or misuse of systems, networks, or customer environments.
- Where Nigerian law applies, customers remain responsible for complying with relevant regulatory, tax, and data-protection obligations connected to their own content and activities.
- You are responsible for ensuring your content and activities comply with all legal requirements that apply to your business.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss, including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, business interruption, or data.
- You acknowledge that hosting and internet-based services carry inherent risks, including downtime, unauthorized access attempts, and data loss.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, absolute security, or that services will always be error-free.
- Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes relating to this Agreement or the Services will be resolved by the courts of the United Kingdom.
