Set up Business Email on Outlook and mobile
Applies to: Business Email services on Odinson using CrossBox and Plesk-managed mailboxes.
This is the right path when the mailbox already exists and you want it in Outlook, Apple Mail, iPhone, Android, or another IMAP app.
Before you start
- Make sure the mailbox already exists in Plesk.
- Keep the full email address and the mailbox password ready.
Steps on OneNet Servers
- Use the full email address as the username.
- Use
odinson.onenetservers.comon port993for IMAP with SSL. - Use
odinson.onenetservers.comon port465with SSL or port587with STARTTLS for SMTP. - Turn on SMTP authentication and use the same full email address and password there as well.
- If the app still fails, test the same mailbox in CrossBox webmail before you keep changing settings.
What you should see next
- The account should save cleanly without repeated password prompts.
- You should be able to send a message to yourself and receive it back.
Common issues
- Using only the mailbox prefix instead of the full email address breaks many setups.
- An app can keep an old saved password even after you reset the mailbox password.
